• Groundhog JobShadow Day:  was a tremendous success!  On February 2, over 1,200 young people visited companies, identified possible career choices, and then learned what “schooling” is needed for those jobs.  We grew from 500 young people last year, and again had fantastic publicity resulting from media coverage of the event.

• Bowling Classic:  at this point, we have bowled for two weekends in Jackson, and had tremendous participation.   We’re still tallying the results, and the Bowlers still have time to turn in additional funds raised.  PLUS, this coming weekend we bowl in Vicksburg, and then we bowl in Hattiesburg.  While J A Staff are beginning to feel like bowling center employees, it will all be worth it if we meet our goal of $145,000!
