NEXT MEETING, APRIL 28Lt. Gov. Amy Tuck will be our speaker.

LAST MEETING, APRIL 14Senator Trent Lott brought us up to date on the war in Iraq. He gave several examples. He also referred to needed changes in the Tax Code and to the importance of Economic Development in Mississippi. Thanks to Larry Johnson for introducing the Senator.

PRESIDENT’S CORNER… Thank you for your response regarding changing the location of our meetings. In order for everyone to have time to get their cards returned, we are extending the time an extra week. If you have not sent yours in, please do so. We want to hear from all our members. Please remember that the District 6820 Conference will be at the Clarion Hotel April 24-26. Hopefully, many of you can attend all or part of it. Thank you again for your tremendous response to the PolioPlus Campaign. It’s still not too late to make a contribution. Also, I want you to know how much I appreciate your thinking about me and praying for me while I was away last week in South Korea. It is good to be home! – Howard
